The Birds: Personalities and Identification

Since we've moved the bird feeder, a whole new world has opened up for me.  Obviously, I'm taking more pictures of birds, and, most often, you get a nice look at our bird feeders as well.  I've been taking this opportunity to improve my bird IDing skills, and as an unintentional side affect, I'm learning the different personalities of the birds.

Some birds are much more cautious than others.  The tufted titmouse, for example, won't sit still long enough for me to focus (the picture you see is the only picture I have), while the gold finches practically pose for me (I can't wait for their colors to fill in for summer, they're starting to golden, but it's not there yet).  The hawk has a limited patience with me.  My last shot of him, as I stalked closer, has been staring right at me, and then he decided he was done with this game and flew off.

I may ask for help with identification as I come across birds I'm not familiar with, so please chime in!
